Amendment of Procedure 2 - Insertion of new sub-section (e) (ii)
'Redesignation
of Single Accounts to Joint Accounts'
By means of a Head Office letter dated August 21st 1968 (reproduced below), branches
were henceforth able to redesignate Single Accounts as Joint Accounts. The new instruction was issued after the introduction of the
No 3 (Investment) Department and refers in (g) to Investment Deposit Instruction No 21 - this latter set of instructions is not reproduced
on this website.
