The above account was opened at the Wells Green Branch on the 19th July 1943, by the mother, Mrs Rose Hannah Davis.
Mrs Davis
made an application to withdraw the sum of £100. 0. 0. from the account, to assist in the purchase of a Baby Linen and Drapery Business,
and also the property, at No 41 Stoney Lane, Yardley.
Mrs Davis and her husband, Allan George Davis, have made a Statutory Declaration
to the effect that the total deposits in the account represent the aggregate of various amounts provided by them jointly; and that
the £100. 0. 0. will be applied for the benefit of the child in so far as their establishment in business will enable them the better
to provide for their son's maintenance, support and education in future years.
The Chairman has approved payment of the amount to Mr and Mrs Davis, the the Committee's confirmation of his action is desired.

The above account was opened at the Erdington Branch on the 25th March 1944, by the father, William Warwick Edgar; and was transferred
in June 1949 to the Yardley Branch.
Mr Edgar made an application to withdraw the balance of the account, stating that he had
been advised by Doctors that his son, Michael William, should live at the seaside, and he desired to use this money towards the purchase
of a boarding-house at Douglas, Isle of Man.
Mr Edgar and his wife, Mrs Dorothy Gertrude Florence Edgar, have made a Statutory
Declaration to the effect that the total deposits in the account represent the aggregate of various amounts provided by them jointly;
and that the application of the money towards the purchase of the boarding-house in the Isle of Man will be for the benefit of the
child in so far as it will enable him to live in conditions beneficial to his health, and at the same time enable the parents the
better to provide for his maintenance, support and education in future years.
The Chairman has approved payment of the
amount to Mr and Mrs Edgar, and the Committee's confirmation of his action is desired.

The amount deposited at the opening of the account, viz, £200, was provided by William
George Downes, of 69 Crantock Road, Perry Barr, grandfather of the child.
Application has now been received from the father,
Cyril Douglas Ashford, to withdraw the sum of £200 which will be used for the benefit of the child insofar as an application to the
business affairs of his parent will enable them the better to provide for his maintenance, support and education in future years.
The
parents of the child, together with the grandfather who provided the money, have agreed to execute a Statutory Declaration as required
by the Bank, and in the circumstances, I shall be glad of the formal approval of the Committee to make the payment under Regulation
No 42 (3).

The above account was opened at Head Office on the 1st September 1948 by the father of the child, Dr Thomas Macmillan Anderson, of
Dudley Road Hospital.
Dr Anderson has now written to say that he is shortly retiring on pension and leaving Birmingham to reside
at Lochaber, Morayshire, where he is purchasing a house, and for which he will require not only the money in his own account and that
of his wife, but also the money in the above account.
Dr and Mrs Anderson have made a Statutory Declaration to the effect that
the whole of the money deposited in the accounts was provided entirely by Dr Anderson, that no question of Trusteeship is involved,
and that the application of the £404. 6. 1d. (including £22. 15. 7d Interest) towards the purchase of the house in question,
will be for the benefit of the child, insofar as it will enable him to live with his parents in conditions beneficial to his health
and well-being.
The Chairman has approved payment of the amount to Dr and Mrs Anderson, and the Committee's confirmation of his
action is desired.
